"Wayne
Sutton lifted spirits."
--Gene Price, San Francisco Bay Times
"He is at his best with dramatic ballads."
--Pierce Carson, The Napa Register
With
his rich baritone Wayne delights his audiences while his relaxed,
at ease, love of interaction with them captivates, charms and
involves all. His charisma makes his concerts an intimate experience.
A
college voice major, he appeared in many leading roles in regional
theater productions over the years before deciding to focus on
his concert career. With the guidance of his mentor and close
friend Faith Winthrop, Wayne has established himself as one of
San Francisco's leading performers. Inspired by performers including
Tony Bennett, Vic Damone, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra, he
has sought to create his own style which reflects an image of
elegance and sophistication.
Performing
all around the world, he still calls San Francisco home. He hosts
the popular Cabaret Spotlight at Johnny Foley's Irish House along
with the San Francisco Bay Area Cabaret Competition.
